US FDA Launches Pilot Testing Study for Raw Milk Cheese    < 2014-02-21 >

On 19 December 2013 the United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) announced that they would launch a pilot testing program to sample and test domestic and imported raw milk cheese aged at least 60 days 1 . Testing started in January 2014 and will last throughout 2014. 1,600 total samples will be tested of which 70% will be imported product and 30% will be domestically made product. EU recommendation for the reduction of dioxins, furans and pcbs in feed and food    < 2014-01-24 >

On 3 December 2013, European Union (EU) Commission Recommendation 2011/516/EU was replaced by Commission Recommendation 2013/711/EU.
