Benzoic Acid - Pharmacal Grade

Features: 
1) White powder or crystals with a strong odor.
2) Has good anti-microbial features.
3) Does not dissolve well in water, so sodium benzoate is often used.
Because sodium benzoate dissolves very well in water and converts to benzoic acid in acidic solutions.

Applications: 
1) Used as an anti-microbial agent.
2) Found in toothpastes and mouthwashed, cosmetics, and deodorants.
