Heat shrinkable creepage extender/rain sheds can provide effective protection against the flashover trouble and eliminates frequent line flashover for bushings and insulators, enhancing the high reliability of whole power system. The rain sheds are applied to the power cable outdoor termination in order to increase the creepage distance and avoid the formation of sewage for various rod-supporting insulators.
