CICGF in Foreign Buyers’ Eyes

The following remarks were made during or after  the 6th China International Consumer Goods Fair (CICGF), which was held from June 8 to 12, 2007.
Katerina Michalaki from Greece: "my opinion about this fair is absolutely good. It was not the first time that I ever visited such an exhibition and the first thing that I have to say is that it was so well organized. The booths were absolutely fine, the place very clean and I have to admit that I always found a interpreter next to me when I needed one. The fair was an absolute success for the city of Ningbo and I wish to be able to visit a lot of fairs so well organized as this one!"
Mr. Gertjan Dieleman from the Netherlands: "the booth decoration of CICGF is the best among all fairs in China I have seen."
Mr. Simo Chegri from France: "with varieties of exhibits, good quality and excellent service, CICGF is filled with business opportunities."
Ms. Feng Gao from TEMA Technologie Marketing AG, Germany: "among several fairs my company has attended in China, CICGF is the best planned and executed with best results achieved. That’s why TEMA chose to cooperate with CICGF for 5 sessions."
H. A Raza from Pakistan: "this is a successful fair. The layout of the exhibition halls, varieties of exhibits and warm introduction by the suppliers, etc. have left a deep impression on me."
Lucky from India: "though we can purchase  home appliances at other places, but we still came to Ningbo to visit CICGF, for the quality is better here."
Ms. Harakawa from Kohnan Shoji Co., Ltd, Japan ( one of the largest super markets in Japan): "Kohnan  has attended 3 sessions of CICGF, and 48 companies from Ningbo have become our suppliers since, with more from Zhejiang Province and around. Just at the 6th CICGF in June this year, we made order of over a dozen containers of slippers from one Ningbo company! The best advantage is, there are so many manufacturers in Zhejiang Province and Ningbo, and you could easily find them at the fair and go to their factories. In Canton Fair you just could not do that. Kohnan will buy more from Ningbo, and we are preparing a sourcing seminar in coming November to enlarge the supplier corps."
